As far as picking the right dog bed for your furry friend several factors can play into what bed is right for your pet. The size, age, health, temperature and what position your pet sleeps in will be a guide on what dog bed would be best for your pet.

For younger dogs a softer bed would be best, while older dogs could benefit from a firmer orthopedic bed.  If your pet your has achy joints you may want to look at beds the are firmer and provide extra support. How your pet sleeps can be a factor in what bed you choose.
